Here is my introduction to the Unreal Sequencer. I start off by giving you a sneak peak of the finished animation from this lesson. Hopefully it stirs up excitement about Unreal Engine’s capabilities. Sequencer allows you to create in-game cut scenes, film previsualization, and even motion graphics animation. After setting up the project, I go over Sequencer terminology, user interface, and basic concepts while forcing you to think about your project pipeline. The way you work will determine how you set up your Level Sequences. Then I take you through the animation example, beginning with a review on basic viewport navigation and ending with a fully rendered animation sequence.
